You Send Me
from Moods Buy the Full Digital AlbumThis one was written by Mark. The track was a live track done at the studio and we were not planning to include it. Carl insisted that we use the track because he liked the guitar solo at the end.
Since we did record with individual tracks, we redid the drums to match the original recording, and put in another bass track that was recorded at a different time, and we just released it.
The bass on this track was done by Jim Althouse, who played on the hit Drift Away, by Dobie Gary. Jim toured with him for several years.
lyrics
You Send Me
Oh Oh
Oh Oh
Remember When We Used To Talk
You Said You’d Understand
I’m Feeling for Me Night and Day
Never Turn Away
Chorus
You Send Me
You Said So
It’s Funny How We Always Seem To
Listen to Our Heads and Not Our Heart
Verse 2
Remember When We Used To Walk
The Sights and Sounds of New York
I Tried To Call Your Family
They Said You Wouldn’t Talk To Me
Chorus
Cause You Send Me
You Said So
It’s Funny How We Always Seem To
Listen to Our Heads and Not Our Heart
Verse 3
I Just Need a Little Time
To Explain My Self
It’s Never Quite What It First Seems
Won’t You Hear Me Out
Chorus
Cause You Send Me
You Said So
It’s Funny How We Always Seem To
Listen to Our Head and Not Our Heart
Bridge
You Send Me, You Said So
You Send Me
Yeah
You send me, You said so
You send me
